Areas of work:
Sheila Skelly MNCHM, RSHOM, RGN has trained as a Shamanic Practitioner and Feather Stone Energy Healing worker with the Edinburgh Shamanic Centre. She is a very intuitive practitioner who is highly tuned with Spirit. She is passionate about working in this way which enables her to use ancient native wisdom, ways and memories of healing with those who want to experience shamanic work.
Sheila is also a highly respected and experienced homoeopath in the community. She graduated from the Northern College of Homoeopathic Medicine in 2006 and has since taught and supervised students for the College. Sheila runs her own homoeopathic practice in Edinburgh.
She is also a Registered General Nurse with over 20 years experience working in healthcare. The way of the shaman is to move between worlds and to serve his/her people. With one foot in the world of orthodox medicine as a nurse and the other in the world of holistic therapy, Sheila is a down to earth person who can use her knowledge and experience to see the benefits of both areas of medicine working together and being complementary to each other for the benefit of her clients.
From 2007 to 2011, Sheila volunteered in the Holistic Community Health Project at the Community Foundation for Planetary Healing CFPH as a Homeopath and a Shamanic Practitioner. In 2010 she travelled to Botswana to volunteer on The Maun Homeopathy Project where she worked with people affected by HIV and Aids including women and children victims of sexual abuse and violence. www.homeopathybotswana.com.
Sheila has an open heart and truth and clarity are the rocks that keep her grounded and highly connected to Spirit. |
